Unless s/he has been mistyping all these posts, Frances be the female of Francis. Had these been audio posts, I too would have been suspicious.

As far as funny names go, did you know Francis' mom was Anne (Cooke) Bacon. Not the Investigator, the 1st Viscount St Alban one.
